Whilst the thought of taking to the seas is often very desirable, the thought of docking on return can strike fear into even the best of boaters. Wind, tide and current can all play a part and therefore it comes as no surprise that statistically, the majority of boating accidents occur whilst docking.

After many embarrassing attempts at docking his boat, Jim Dickson had an idea for a docking system that would make docking safer and easier. Jim called upon the experience of his friend and marine engineer Peter Wright and after 4 years of design, development and testing, the initial EB Docking System was launched.

15 years on there is now a range of EB Docking Systems and our design team are continually developing new docking technology to help both marinas and boaters.
