EB Docking Solutions are delighted that the Gibraltar Government have announced they are to build a new two-phase purpose built municipal mooring facility in Gibraltar that incorporates the EB docking System. The first phase will cater for a total of 221 boats and will take approximately four months to complete with work on a second phase creating a further 228 moorings commencing shortly thereafter.

The Government has been developing the concept with EB Docking Solutions who have over 20 years experience working on marina engineering projects ranging from new marina construction, redevelopment and expansion. EB Docking Solutions Limited having been working on a design which provides the following:

A mooring solution that dramatically reduces damages to boats when docking by incorporating a guidance and separation system that reduces the risk of accidental damage to boats and physical injury to persons during mooring.

Bellingham Unifloat concrete pontoons with integrated power & water supplies.

A facility that requires the minimum of maintenance.

Moorings that no longer require chain anchor mooring points on the sea bed.

A mooring facility that is environmentally friendly, reduces the risk to marine life, and is eco-friendly.

A facility that sets new standards in safety for both night berthing and on the walkways with the use of solar powered lighting.
